Anima
Getting Started
Anima is a resonant filter instrument. It runs audio through eight tuned harmonic filters. When you play a MIDI note, those filters tune to harmonic intervals of that note's frequency, extracting pitched content from unpitched material.
Quick Start
- Load Anima on a MIDI track in your DAW
- Drag a sample onto the waveform display (or use the built-in capture to record audio)
- Play a MIDI note
- Adjust DRY/WET to blend between the original sample and the resonant output
- Adjust RING to control how long the harmonics sustain
- Adjust LIFE to add random modulation to harmonic frequencies
