Installation

System Requirements

• macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later, or Windows 10/11
• Intel or Apple Silicon Mac (native support)
• VST3, AU, or CLAP compatible DAW
• 4GB RAM minimum

Download

Download Anima from sequins.music/anima.

macOS Installation

1. Open the downloaded .pkg installer
2. Follow the installation wizard
3. Anima installs to:
   • AU: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
   • VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
   • CLAP: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP/
4. Restart your DAW to scan for the new plugin

Windows Installation

1. Run the downloaded .exe installer
2. Follow the installation wizard
3. Choose which formats to install (VST3, CLAP)
4. Anima installs to:
   • VST3: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
   • CLAP: C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP\
5. Restart your DAW to scan for the new plugin

First Launch

1. Insert Anima on a MIDI/instrument track in your DAW
2. The license activation window appears
3. Enter your license key (see License Activation)
4. Click "Activate"

Updating

When an update is available, download the latest installer from sequins.music/anima and run it. Your license and presets are preserved.

Uninstalling

macOS

Delete the Anima files from:

• /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Anima.component
• /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Anima.vst3
• /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP/Anima.clap

Windows

Use Add or Remove Programs in Windows Settings, or delete:

• C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Anima.vst3
• C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP\Anima.clap
